Laguiole cutlery is known for its high-quality craftsmanship and distinctive design. Here’s a breakdown of the differences between the three tiers of Laguiole cutlery we offer on our website:

1. Laguiole Deluxe:

  • Finish: The finish is polished to a high shine, adding to the elegant appearance.
  • Features: Deluxe cutlery may include additional features like a higher grade of steel for the blades, ensuring superior sharpness and durability. There is over 25 manual processes including the hand polishing of each item. This range is always finished to a high polish and has stainless steel thickness of 1.5mm.

2. Laguiole Maison:

  • Finish: The finish is machine polished therefore it may not have as high a sheen as the Deluxe range.
  • Features: Maison cutlery is still the same 1.5mm thickness of stainless steel but is machined polished instead of hand polishing. The Maison tier focuses on providing a mix of aesthetics and functionality, making it suitable for both everyday use and special occasions.
